These puppies, along with their mother, were living on the streets of Compton. Eldad captured the family and WeCARe took them all in, promising to find them families who would love and cherish them for the rest of their days.

West Coast Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that encompasses animal rescue groups, including Sparky and the Gang in Long Beach, CA. Contributions/donations are tax-deductible (as permitted by law).

Meet Ladybug

Ladybug was picked up as a stray and taken to the Baldwin Park shelter in LA County. She is sweet as pie, smart (knows sit and stay), so it seems someone cared for her at one time. She had an enormous growth on her front leg and a hard mass in her shoulder. To read more about Ladybug's journey, click here. Black Dog Syndrome

Did you know that black dogs have a much lower chance of being adopted simply because of their color? Or that Chihuahuas- particularly ones with black and tan coloring- are the most commonly found breed in animal shelters today?
